Research Interests

The Stambrook laboratory is interested in studying the health risks associated with environmental chemicals that function as potential mutagens and carcinogens. Chemicals in commercial use today number about 100,000 and represent a significant environmental health risk to the population. This risk can manifested as somatic and or germ cell mutation significantly increasing the risk of cancer, birth defects and other genetic disease.
