Research Interests

Shahla Hosseini, MD, PhD, is a board-certified physiatrist who focuses on neurorehabilitation of her patients in the outpatient setting by helping to maximize their functioning and quality of life when they have disability due to multiple sclerosis, stroke, spinal cord injury and other neurologic diseases. Her main clinical interests are muscle spasticity, gait dysfunction and fall prevention. Dr. Hosseini has been with the Division of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2013. She is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team of physicians and therapists at the Waddell Center for Multiple Sclerosis, and is dedicated to improving her patients' function and well-being.
