Applying to the Program

The application period for the 2020-2021 academic year is now closed. The application portal for the 2021–22 academic year will open on October 1, 2020. Review of applications for admission will begin on December 1, 2020. Applications must be completed by June 30, 2021.

If you submitted your 2020–21 application by the June 30, 2020 deadline:

Your application will be reviewed once all of the following components are complete:

  • Official MCAT score report | Your official MCAT score report (transcript) must be released to the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine (UC COM) via the AAMC/MCAT website. You are also required to enter your AAMC ID# and your 16-digit MCAT verification code within your online application. The MCAT report must show your name, date of birth, AAMC ID#, and your 16-digit verification code.
  • Unofficial university transcript(s)
  • Curriculum vitae or résumé
  • Personal statement
  • Letters of recommendation
  • Optional video essay (a very brief video that you will submit during the online application process)

Supporting documentation must be received by July 9, 2020. Please verify that your supporting documentation is complete by visiting the Graduate School application portal.  Click on "Application Status". Once your supporting documents have been uploaded, please notify Emma Jones by email. We will then confirm by email that your application is complete and ready for review by the admissions committee.
