Nina Bertaux-Skeirik receives Ryan Fellowship
Nina Bertaux-Skeirik has been awarded a two-year Albert J. Ryan Fellowship for graduate studies. This is the highest honor the College of Medicine can bestow on graduate students while they are still in their degree program. Nina studies under the guidance of Yana Zavros, PhD.

Researchers Receive NIH Award
An interdisciplinary team including Yana Zavros, PhD, Christian Hong, PhD, and Marshall Montrose, PhD has received a $4.6 million NIH grant to study diarrheal disease using lab-developed human stomach and intestinal tissues known as organoids. Read more
