NBME Item Writing Manual
As part of our continuing efforts at teaching skills development we would like you to be aware that the NBME Item Writing Manual is available for download at the NBME website. We  would encourage each of you to develop expertise in item writing and to share this resource with your faculty. As we develop our new curriculum, the basic principles of quality test item construction will be extremely important in evaluating both student performance and the performance of the curriculum.
